Utkal University announces +3 exam results

The Utkal University on Monday announced the annual Plus Three examination results.

Announcing the results at a press briefing at the University premises here, vice-chancellor Prasant Kumar Sahu said the pass rate in the Arts stream is 84.19 while in the Science and Commerce streams the pass rate is 81.45 and 82.98 percent respectively.

Expressing happiness over the improved pass rate as compared to last year’s result, Sahu said the University has achieved a unique record by announcing the results in April, at least a month before the usual announcement of results.

“It was possible as the university had adopted a new online system known as Utkal University Examination Management System (UUEMS) that enabled the University to announce the results 35 days after the conclusion of the examinations”, he added.

He, however, said that while the results of the students having no back papers was announced today, results of the students having back papers is most likely to be announced in the third week of May.
