Weather Alert! Thunderstorm, rainfall warning issued for 19 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning likely to lash as many as 19 districts of the state today.

“Thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph is also likely in one or two places of Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur and Sundergarh districts,” as per the latest bulletin issued by the regional Meteorological Centre here.

Such weather condition is likely to prevail between 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm today, the weathermen added.
