With 1.57% TPR, Odisha logs 1041 new COVID-19 cases

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1041 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 66281 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.57%.

Out of the 1041 cases, 128 are below 18 years of age. Khurda district registered highest 398 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (176) and Jajpur (56).

The COVID-19 tally in the state reached 998187 with 9664 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 68 more COVID-19 deaths as the toll rose to 7154. Cuttack district reported highest 18 fatalities.
