Women ransack liquor shop in Odisha village

Over hundred women in Talkundi panchayat under Reamal block in Odisha’s Deogarh district today took the law into their own hands and ransacked a country liquor shop after failing to get it shifted from the panchayat area despite lodging complaints at all levels from the BDO to district collector.

While the liquor shop owner and his workmen stood awestruck, women barged into the liquor vend smashed liquor bottles and pulled down its thatched roof.
