World Elephant Day observed at Nandankanan zoo in Odisha

World Elephant Day was observed at Nandankanan Zoological Park on the outskirts of Odisha capital today.

On the occasion, elephants of the zoo were decked up with special attires. Hundreds of visitors, including school students, gathered to see the jumbos in new avtaar.

Notably, World Elephant Day is an international annual event dedicated to the preservation and protection of elephants across the globe.

On the other hand, an one-year-old lion cub namely Kalpana was released into an enclosure in the zoo today.
