Youth hangs self over ‘infidelity’ by girlfriend in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A youth in the capital city hanged self allegedly over infidelity by girlfriend. Police recovered a suicide note from the scene.

The incident occurred at Nandan Vihar area in Bhubaneswar.

The deceased youth has been identified as Soumya Ranjan Panigrahi. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside his bedroom this morning.

In a handwritten note found from the site, it was clearly mentioned that the reason of his suicide was his girlfriend’s infidelity.

Source said that the youth took extreme step after coming to know that he was being cheated by his beloved since a past year. He also mentioned his girlfriend and her current partner’s names in the suicide note.
