10,781 in 24 hours: Odisha sees highest single-day recovery from Covid-19

Bhubaneswar: A record number of Covid patients recovered today in Odisha taking the recovered patients tally in the State to 5,02,455. As per the data provided by the Health and Family Welfare department, a total of 10,781 Covid patients have recovered and are being discharged today.

A maximum of 1,605 Covid patients recuperated in Khordha district followed by 1,186 from Sundargarh, 966 from Cuttack, 566 from Kalahandi, 557 from Angul, 530 from Bargarh, 458 from Sambalpur, 422 from Jharsuguda, 366 from Puri and 342 from Nabarangpur district.

The data further mentioned 285 persons from Ganjam,267 from Nayagarh, 258 from Balangir, 257 from Mayurbhanj, 256 from Nuapada, 251 from Boudh, 218 from Koraput, 206 from Keonjhar, 177 from Jajpur, 163 from Dhenkanal, 157 from Bhadrak, 147 from Jagatsinghpur, 144 from Sonepur, 143 from Kendrapara and 131 from Rayagada district recovered from the Covid-19 disease.

A total of 110 from Deogarh, 97 from Balasore, 91 from Gajapati, 76 from Kandhamal and 67 from Malkangiri district also recovered. The data added as many as 282 from State Pool recuperated as well.
