12-year-old girl raped, murdered in Odisha’s Angul
Angul: Incidents of atrocities against women continues unabated in Odisha as a 12-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped, raped and murdered in Sadar area of Angul district today.
According to reports, the minor girl headed towards her father’s shop carrying lunch for him around 2 PM. Later, her body was found at a bush near a temple in a mutilated and naked state.

It is suspected that she was crushed to death with stone. On being informed about the incident, police reached the spot, recovered the body and initiated investigation.
The exact reason behind her death can be ascertained after the post-mortem, police said.
