2 missing boys found dead in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj; sorcery suspected

Rairangpur: Decomposed bodies of two minor boys who had gone missing since Tuesday were found from a forest near Jhipabandha village under Badampahada police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district yesterday.

Police suspect that the duo has been killed over sorcery. On the other hand, the deceased’s mother is untraceable which has led to rising of suspicion over her.

According to reports, Jagannath Sinku (10) and Jashobant Sinku (3), sons of Madhusudan Sinku and Rinki Sinku, of the village went missing on Tuesday following which an FIR in this regard was lodged with Badampahada police.

During probe, police today found the two bodies with necks being slit at a forest near the village.

Police have detained three persons in connection with the incident for interrogation.
