30 hurt as mini truck overturns in Kandhamal

At least 30 persons were injured, four of them seriously, when a mini truck in which they were travelling overturned near Keredi in Odisha’s Kandhamal district this afternoon.

According to reports, a bridegroom party was on its way to a neighbouring village in a mini truck when the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to save a goat.

The incident took place at about 4.30 pm.

Following information, police reached the spot and rushed the injured to the district headquarters hospital.

Sources in the hospital said, four seriously injured passengers would be shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital at Brahmapur.
