Odisha sees spike of 668 COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Bhubaneswar:  Another 668 persons in Odisha contracted the deadly Coronavirus in last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,14,629.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 28 districts, 385 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 283 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Nuapada recorded highest 68 fresh cases followed by Khordha (56) and Sundargarh (55).

Currently,  the number of total active cases in the state stands at 7,106. Besides, 3,05,813 persons have so far recovered from the disease so far.
