Achyuta Samanta felicitates Odia athletes of AAC
Bhubaneswar: Odia athletes who participated in the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships that concluded here on July 9 were felicitated today by Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS.
The athletes were honoured and awarded with cash prizes in a special function at Hotel Marrion here.

As announced earlier, Dutee Chand, who won two Bronze Medals in 4×100 relay and 100 meter race, was awarded Rs 3 lakh.
While Srabani Nanda was given Rs 1.5 lakh, Purnima Hembram, who won bronze medal in heptathlon, got Rs 1.5 lakh.
On this occasion Saina Salonika of KiiT International School who won the gold medal in under-14 year category in Commonwealth Chess Championship held at Delhi was felicitated.
