BJD announces 7 assembly and 2 Lok Sabha candidates for Odisha polls

Bhubaneswar: BJD party supremo Naveen Patnaik has announced names of 7 assembly seats and 2 Lok Sabha seats today.

Candidature for the following Lok Sabha seats are as follows:

Three-time Odisha MLA now back to old profession as doctor

Odisha: Bijepur by-poll likely in October

Dhenkanal: Mahesh Sahoo

Keonjhar: Smt. Chandrani Murmu

Similarly, the following candidates have been allotted the seven Assembly seats:

Bhubaneswar-Central: Ananat Narayan Jena

Bhubaneswar-North: Sushant Kumar Rout

Khandapada: Soumya Ranjan Patnaik

Pallahara: Mukesh Pal

Jajpur: Pranab Prakash Das

Athamallik: Ramesh Chandra Sai

Korei: Ashok Bal

Odisha has 147 Assembly and 21 Lok sabha constituencies, which will go to polls in four phases on April 11, 18, 23 and 29, simultaneously with Lok Sabha elections.
