BSP candidate backs Soumya Ranjan, joins AOP

In view of the massive people’s support for Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, president and candidate of Ama Odisha Party (AOP) in the Khandapada Assembly constituency, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Sarojini Ransingh contesting from this constituencyhas joined the AOP and pleddged her support to Patnaik on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sarojini said she was contesting the polls with an aim to topple the local BJD leadership and provide clean administration to the people of Khandapada.

“The victory of Soumya Ranjan is certain and he would bring about a sea change in the socio-economic condition of Khandapada. I will ask my followers to extend their unstinting support to Patnaik who is an immensely popular leader with a robust personality”, she said.

“I have accepted Patnaik as my leader who is committed to giving a fitting reply to the autocratic rule and hooliganism of the local BJD leaders in Khandapada in the ensuing elections”, she added.
