Budget session of Odisha assembly from March 20

Bhubaneswar: The two-phase Budget session of Odisha assembly will commence from March 20, sources said.

The twelfth session of fifteenth assembly will commence from March 20 with Governor SC Jamir’s address followed by motion of thanks on Governor’s address. The first phase of the session will begin from March 20 to March 31.

On March 23, Finance Minister Sashi Bhusan Behera would present the budget for 2018-19. Similarly, general discussion on Budget will commence from March 26 and the Appropriation Bill on vote of account will be presented on March 31.

The second phase session would begin from April 11 to May 5.
