CM assures investors of govt’s support ahead of Make in Odisha Conclave

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today assured potential investors of “unmatched facilitation support” from the State Government at the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Mumbai ahead of the Make in Odisha Conclave-2018.

“The First Edition of the Make in Odisha Conclave evoked enthusiastic response with announcement of above Rupees 2 lakh crore of investment intent. I am glad to announce that we are organizing the Second Edition of our flagship initiative, the Make in Odisha Conclave, during November 11 to November 15, 2018 at Bhubaneswar, to showcase the manufacturing prowess of the State and the investment potential in diverse sectors,” said Patnaik at the programme.

“The theme of Make in Odisha Conclave 2018 is “I am Odisha”, which celebrates all the successes of Odisha and her people in creating a vibrant ecosystem for business in the State. “I am Odisha” will be a unique platform for the people to share their stories that showcase the ‘Odisha of today’ and present their vision for the ‘Odisha of future‘,” the CM said.

“I extend a very warm welcome to all of you present here today, to come and experience the countless opportunities that my State offers. I assure you of unmatched facilitation support from my Government. I look forward to see you all in Bhubaneswar at the Make in Odisha Conclave 2018. Come, Join the Juggernaut,” he concluded.

Patnaik flagged off the ‘I am Odisha’ campaign which will pay a tribute to architects of modern Odisha and contemporary achievers across various sectors. The campaign celebrates people from the state by highlighting stories that have contributed to the state’s success. ‘I am Odisha’ will conclude in a grand finale at the Make in Odisha Conclave-2018.

The CM also launched the official web portal for Make in Odisha Conclave-2018 (www.mio.investodisha.gov.in) featuring State’s robust business ecosystem, investment opportunities across focus sectors & swift facilitation structure.

Notably, the state government has partnered with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for the second Make in Odisha Conclave scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 11 to 15.
