The exodus from the Congress in Odisha continues as two senior leaders of the party resigned from the primary membership today.

Odisha Pradesh Congress secretary Bharati Das and state party spokesperson Ashok Samal announced their resignations from the Congress alleging that senior leaders and party workers were being completely ignored in the party.

They have also made an oblique reference to the ‘coterie’ within the party which they hold responsible for the alienation of the party rank and file.
