Diarrhoea spreads in Odisha village; over 300 affected

Boudh, May 8:

Over 300 persons have been affected with diarrhoea in Baunsuni village in Odisha’s Boudh district.

Boudiapada and Puruna Basti areas of the village are the worst affected. The seriously affected have been admitted to the government hospital in the village, reports said.

Villagers’ alleged contaminated water supplied through the Rural Water Supply & Sanitation (RWSS) scheme to be the cause behind the spread of the disease.
