Engineering college in Bhubaneswar sealed for COVID norms violation

Bhubaneswar: The  Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today sealed the Silicon Institute of Technology in Patia area here for violation of COVID-19 guidelines.

A squad of the BMC reached the private college this morning and sealed the campus until further orders.

Yesterday, the BMC had served a show-cause notice to authorities of the educational institution for  violation of the norms. As they failed to furnish a satisfactory reply, the BMC sealed the college today.

So far, two leading private coaching institutes in the capital city have been sealed for violating the COVID-19 SOP.
