Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance today detected disproportionate assets worth crores belonging to former Bhadrak District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Jayanti Behera during raids at her residence.

The woman official currently posted at the Women & Child Development Department was found in possession of properties including three multi-storey buildings in Balasore and two flats in Bhubaneswar which are disproportionate to her known sources of income.

Following disproportionate assets unearthed so far:

1. One triple storeyed building over plinth area 1700 Sqft. at Ganeswarpur, Balasore.

2. Another triple storeyed building over plinth area 1400 Sqft. at Firingipatna, Balasore.

3. One double storeyed building over plinth area 1000 Sqft. at Ganeswarpur, Balasore.

4. One 3-BHK Flat at Royal Residency, Goutam Nagar, Bhubaneswar.

5. Another 3-BHK Flat at Old Town, Bhubaneswar.

6. 4 plots in prime area of Balasore. Details are under;

i) A piece of land vide plot No.150, Khata No.63 of area Ac 0.18 decimal at mouza Dasi, Balasore.

ii) A piece of land vide plot No.546, Khata No.186 of area Ac 0.11373 decimal at mouza Jhagadapadhi, Balasore.

iii) A piece of land vide plot No.551, Khata No.238 of area Ac 0.09621 decimal at mouza Jhagadapadhi, Balasore.

iv) A piece of land vide plot No.103, Khata No.06/03 of area Ac 0.09621 decimal at mouza Badadeula, Balasore.

The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above building/flats/plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.

7. Cash Rs.2.79 Lakhs.

8. Bank, Postal & Insurance deposits over Rs.1.40 Crore.

9. 1 four wheeler (Maruti Baleno-Altura) and 1 two wheeler (Suzuki GLX).

10. Silver ornaments 2 Kg.
