Man gets 10 year RI for raping granddaughter in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A local court in Odisha capital today convicted a man for raping his granddaughter over two years ago.

According to reports, the Special POCSO court here awarded 10-year rigorous imprisonment (RI) to Bharat Sahu for raping the minor girl.

The convict, said to be a maternal grandfather of the victim, had allegedly raped the latter in December 2015. The incident had taken place here under Khandagiri police limits.
