Man kills self after seriously injuring employer’s son in Odisha

Bhadrak, Nov 7:

In a shocking incident, a servant has allegedly committed suicide after hitting his owner’s son with a pestle on his head near Mortal chowk in Bhadrak town in Odisha, today.

The deceased Suresh Nayak (41) was a household help for Dr. Pravash Mohanty, a private nursing home owner in Bhadrak.

At 3 am in the morning Nayak entered the room where both the sons of the doctor, Abilash and Abhinash were sleeping. He hit Abhinash (17) on his head with a pestle. Abhinash had fainted after the assault.

Thinking that the boy was dead he ran away to the next room and allegedly hanged himself from the ceiling fan.

Abhibash has sustained injuries in his head and hand. The family members have denied any discord.  Nayak was working for the last 20 years with them, according to reports.

Abhinash has said that Suresh used to love him a lot.
