Miscreants loot Rs 9.5 lakh from car in Odisha’s Nuapada

Nuapada: In a broad daylight heist, two unidentified miscreants looted Rs 9.5 lakhs from the car of a contractor in front of SBI bank in Odisha’s Nuapada district today.

According to reports, Koustav Sahu, the victim, withdrew Rs 9.5 lakhs from the bank and kept the amount on the back seat of his car.

While he was at the driver seat and about to start the vehicle, two bike-borne robbers reached the spot, broke the window glass of the car and decamped with the money.

Police have started investigation into the incident on the basis of a complaint lodged by Sahu.
