More persons from these two hospitals in Odisha’s Cuttack test COVID-19 positive

Cuttack: Adding to worries about the COVID-19 pandemic, fresh coronavirus positive cases were reported today at two prominent hospitals in Cuttack city. Official sources said another 38 persons from Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) and six from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack tested positive for the deadly virus.

So far, a total of 113 persons from the cancer hospital and 17 in SCB hospital have been found COVID-19 positive.

On July 2, 55 persons from the Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre contracted the disease while 11 persons from SCB Medical College and Hospital tested positive for the virus infection.

On July 1, five staff including a doctor and a patient of the cancer hospital tested positive for the virus.

The first COVID-19 case in the cancer hospital was detected on June 24.
