Naveen to resume poll campaign from home turf

Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal supremo Naveen Patnaik will resume the poll campaignin for upcoming simultaneous polls in Odisha beginning April 11 from his home turf.

As per party sources, Naveen will resume the first phase poll campaign from Wednesday (April 3). During his visit to Ganjam, the party president will hold a series of roadshows at Berhampur, Ganjam, Chhatrapur and Rambha. Besides, he will address two public rallies.

Worth mentioning, the BJD has procured a hi-tech bus like a vanity van in which party supremo will be using it for touring various places.

Earlier on last Sunday, Naveen launched the poll campaign from Nayagarh.

The party today announced the list of candidates for nine Assembly and one Lok Sabha seat.

The party is yet to announce 10 more Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats of the 147 Assembly and 21 Lok Sabha seats.
