Berhampur, March 17:
Nine minor girls were rescued on Wednesday from the Berhampur Railway station in Odisha by the Childline with the help of the government railway police.
The girls were being trafficked to Mumbai with promises of being given jobs.
While three of them hail from Satakutuni area near Berhampur city, other six girls belong to the Kandhamala district.
One woman has been detained in connection with the trafficking.
