Odisha actor Amlan injured in car accident

Ollywood actor Amlan Das was critically injured in a car accident at Ring Road near Markatnagar police station in Sector-7 area of Cuttack late last night.

According to reports, the mishap took place at around 2.30 AM when Amlan was returning home in his car from shooting set. The driver of the vehicle tried to overtake another car at Ring Road following which both the vehicles fell of the bridge.

While the actor was rescued and admitted to Ashwini Hospital here, the driver of the other car was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

“Amlan’s condition is stable. He has sustained injuries on his head. He is able to talk now,” said Amlan’s father and veteran actor Mihir Das.
