Attended by Odisha Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra and departmental Secretary Sanjeev Chopra, the event highlighted the industry friendly policies of the State and took industry representatives through the event schedule.

Minister Mishra held meetings with CEOs and representatives of several businesses and assured them all possible support within the framework of Industrial Policy Resolution of the state government.

Addressing reporters, he explained that the government is focusing on creating three million new jobs through investment and industrialization.

“We have taken up various programs and formed several policies to make the state pro-industry. Many new policies will be unveiled during the summit to be held between November 30 and December 2. Besides, we held discussions with many entrepreneurs today and have taken a note of their suggestions,” said Mishra.

It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik earlier on October 20 met the envoys of 25 countries and the European Union seeking investment opportunities and inviting them to participate along with their business delegations in the ‘Make in Odisha Conclave’ to be held at Bhubaneswar from November 30 to December 2 this year.
