Odisha Plus II syllabus revised, updates to be available on website soon

Bhubaneswar: In view of perplexity occurred during Plus Two examinations this year, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) made few changes in the current syllabus in all the streams.

The syllabus of Plus Two Science, Arts and Commerce was rectified at the revision committee meeting held recently.

The revised syllabus will be updated soon on CHSE website, informed a senior official in the CHSE.

The CHSE also decided to bring reforms in question paper marks in 2019 Plus Two examinations.

According to reports, there were several errors found in the syllabus, which was designed in CBSE standard in 2016, for which the confusion had occurred during last examinations and the authorities had to change the schedule of examinations.

In view of the errors made during preparation of the syllabus, the authorities made some changes to it.

The syllabus of around 150 subjects was revised following discussion with members of the committee.

Meanwhile, the CHSE released academic calendar as part of preparation for the next annual examinations to be held in 2019.

As per the academic calendar, the Plus Two examinations will begin from first week of March next year. The practical tests will be held between January 18 and 30. The results of Arts, Science and Commerce will be announced by June 10.
