Odisha sees 1,578 fresh COVID-19 cases; Khordha highest at 436

Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw 1,578 fresh COVID-19 cases, a marginal increase, registering over 400 infections from Khordha district in a single day.

Of daily new COVID cases, 915 were from different quarantine centres and 663 were the local contacts.

Khordha district continues to be in top place with 436 new cases followed by Cuttack district with 212 cases and Jagatsinghpur district with 113 in last 24 hours.

The remaining 27 districts reported the fresh cases below 100.
