Reboot your fitness regime with ‘healthy food’ menu
Bhubaneswar: Are you at your wits end trying to figure out how to eat healthy to achieve your fitness goals? Look no further as a restaurant in Odisha capital has come to your rescue with a ‘healthy food’ menu.
This menu, brought out by 9th Street in association with Hide Away Restro & Cafe, boasts of fruit juices and shakes such as papaya, pomegranate, green apple, custard apple, chickoo, dragon fruit, kiwi, pear, guava, etc. and other special juices like tulsi-lime, carrot cleanser, power booster shake, tonics and other detox juices.
The food section predominantly features steam-cooked dishes and items such as veg/ chicken stew, steam fish/chicken, chicken sasli (that has butter roasted rice and boneless chicken cubes, topped with continental sauces) along with sandwiches, wraps, scrambled and boiled eggs, fruit salad of a wide variety of fruits (such as pineapple, grapes, chickoo, muskmelon, apple, kiwi, strawberry, dragon fruit, green apple, etc.) and sprouts.
“Our guests are already trying out the food off this health list and appreciating it, though we were not expecting such a huge demand on the first day of launching the menu yesterday,” said Santosh Gadhai, the Manager of the restaurant.
The restaurant is open for business as early as 7 am to target the health freaks in the city and closes at 11 pm to admit the busy bees working late, but watching their weight.
“Smart city Bhubaneswar has a niche crowd of fitness conscious individuals and the number is growing steadily. Our menu has been put together by a nutrition expert Satyajeet Tripathy, who is fitness model and brand ambassador of FitExpo and BodyPower. We will soon include 70-80 more options. Moreover, this is also a service to those who want to eat healthy but do not have the time or ingredients to prepare it, ” said Avinash Deo, MD of 9th Street.
So next time, you gear up to eat healthy, indulge you taste buds with cleansers, detox juices and steam-cooked food and beat the scales of your weighing machine.
