Rs 60 lakhs worth of gold, cash looted in Odisha capital

Dacoits have broken into the house of a businessman in Odisha capital and looted gold and cash worth more than Rs 60 lakhs kept for his daughter’s wedding yesterday night.

Robbers have made off with two kilo gold ornaments and Rs 20 lakh cash from the house of M N Bhuyan, an Odisha based businessman, in Tulasi Vihar  area of Chandrasekharpur .

According to sources, the cash and gold had been kept for the businessman’s wedding. Bhuyan has lodged a written complaint in Chandrasekharpur police station.

Police has detained some suspects for questioning.
