Second OJEE concludes in Odisha

The second Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) concluded in the state capital here this morning.

OJEEAbout 1300 students appeared in the one-hour examination which began at 11 AM.

The examination was held in three centers at the Rajdhani College, Unit-II Girls High School and Saraswati Sishu Mandir at Niladri Vihar.

The OJEE authorities had taken adequate security measures and engaged three examiners each in these three centres.

The examination was held for admission in the vacant MBA, MCA and Lateral MBA seats in several private technical colleges in the state.

“Results of the Second OJEE would be uploladed on OJEE website www.odishajee.com on August 11 while the verification of documents would be held on August 12 and 13. The final allotment of seats would be made on August 14,” said OJEE chairperson Tushar Kant Nath.

It may be mentioned that the Odisha High Court had directed the state government to conduct second OJEE following a writ petition by the Odisha Private Engineering Colleges Association (OPECA).

The Association had urged the intervention of the court to direct the state government to conduct second OJEE for admission in about 2000 MBA and 2200 MCA vacant seats in these private institutions.
