Sex racket busted in Odisha capital, two arrested

Bhubaneswar:  The Commissionerate Police today busted a sex racket operating from a rented accommodation under Khandagiri police limits in Odisha capital.

The police have arrested two persons for allegedly running the flesh trade in the locality.

The cops rescued three women belonging to West Bengal from the spot and sent them to a shelter home. Their identity is yet to ascertained.

Acting on a tip-off, the Khandagiri police conducted raids on the building and busted the flesh trade racket.

Police have also seized guns, live bullets, cars and several objectionable items from the spot.

Police registered a case under relevant Sections of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, 1956.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, a police official said.
