Shame! Minor girl raped in Odisha

Konark: In yet another shocking incident, a nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped on the premises of Jogeswar school under Gop police station limits in Odisha’s Puri district today.

According to reports, the minor girl was missing from her home. Her parents after a frantic search, found her in critical condition in a secluded place on Jogeswar school premises.

The victim’s parents rushed her to the nearest hospital where the attending doctor told them that she has been raped, reports added.

The victim who was in a critical condition has been shifted to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for better treatment, the reports further added.

Meanwhile, police is investigating the matter and efforts are on to identify the perpetrator of the crime.
