Shocking! Man smashes 10-month-old daughter to death in Odisha

Jajpur: In an extremely inhumane act, a person allegedly threw his 10-month-old daughter to death on road at Bhubanapur village under Jenapur police limits in Odisha’s Jajpur district last evening.

According to reports, Nanda Kishore Mallick of the village had a quarrel with his wife over some issues.

Losing his cool, Mallick threw his infant daughter on village road leading to her death. He went absconding after committing the crime, sources said.

The mother of the deceased baby has lodged a complaint with Jenapur police.

Cops have started investigation into the incident seizing the body for post-mortem. Efforts are on to nab the accused, police sources said.

Later in the evening, the accused was arrested by Jenapur police.
