Sports journo Sambit elected to SJFI national executive

Noted Odisha sports journalist, commentator and news editor of Odia daily Nirbhay Sambit Mohapatra has been elected to the apex body of sports journalists in the country, the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI) at its 37th national convention in Hyderabad which concluded today.
Mohapatra, who is the joint secretary of the Odisha Sports Journalists Association (OSJA), is the first journalist from Odisha to be elected to the national executive of the SJFI.
Talking to OST over phone Mohapatra said he was happy with his election to the august body and said the SJFI would hold its 2016 national convention in Bhubaneswar. The venue for the 2015 convention is Mumabi, he informed.
