Sura Baba offered teenage girl Rs 3 lakh to hush up forced sex!

With complaints of sexual escapades of Sura Baba alias Surendra Mishra, the founder of the Trahi Achyuta ashram at Jhiinti sasan near Odisha’s capital city coming out in a torrent, it is now certain that this fake Baba was streets ahead of another self-styled godman Sarathi Baba alias Santosh Roul who bit the dust before him and is now colling his heels in Choudwar jail.

In an exclusive report today, leading Odia daily Sambad has made sensational revelation about the sexual escapades of Sura Baba.

According to reports, the sexual exploits of Sura Baba was not only confined to his ashram, but also stretched up to Baleswar district where several women have fallen victims to the Baba’s unbridled sexual urge.

Talking to Sambad on condition of anonymity, a teenage girl (16-17-year-old), an engineering student of Basta area in Baleswar district said she was appointed as a member of Mahila Sena (women’s brigade) of the Baba inside his Jhiinti based ashram about one-and-half year ago.

During her stay at the ashram, she was forced to have sex with the Baba. As she became pregnant later, she informed the matter to the family members of the Baba, but to no avail.

Finding no other alternative, she left for Baleswar and got herself aborted by selling her gold chain.

Apprehending that the victim might disclose the incident, two inmates of the ashram had offered her a cash of Rs 3 lakh with a promise to solemnise her marriage with a well-to-do bridegroom and a good job.

To hush up the matter, the ashram authorities had spent Rs 12 lakh, reliable sources said.

In another incident, a couple from Soro area of Baleswar district had gone to Trahi Achyut ashram at Jhiinti in June this year where the woman was later sexually exploited by Sura Baba.

However, the ashram authorities had later paid Rs 10 lakh to the couple to hush up the matter, the sources added.
