Orissa HC hears bail application of Sura Baba, son

Orissa High Court heard the bail application of Sura Baba alias Surendra Nath Mishra and his son Trilochan Mishra on Thursday. A bench headed by Justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo heard both the bail applications in a single hearing.

The father-son duo have said in their bail application that the Chhatrapur land grab case is completely baseless and is an attempt to harass them.

On the other hand , Crime Branch has challenged the bail application. The next hearing is on May 5.

Earlier a complaint had been lodged by Motiram Sahu in Chhatrapur Police Station alleging land grab against the self proclaimed Godman.
