Ten-year-old tribal girl raped, murdered in Odisha

In a ghastly incident, a 10-year-old tribal girl has been allegedly raped and brutally murdered under Tiring police station in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.

The class five student and a native of Jharkhand was staying at her uncle’s house and studying here.

On Thursday morning the girl had gone to the village bus stand to receive her uncle but went missing.

Some locals had found the bloodied body of the minor in the Sanakumarum forest jungle near Sanasiajang village yesterday and informed the police.

The family members have alleged that the girl has been raped and murdered. A forensic team will reach the spot today to conduct further investigation. The body has been sent for post mortem.

The police are further investigating into the case.
