Watery grave for two minor siblings in Odisha’s Nayagarh

Nayagarh: In a tragic incident, two minor siblings drowned to death in a pond at Sathiapalli village within Nayagarh police limits in Odisha’s Nayagarh district here today. The deceased children were identified as Chandrashekhar and his younger brother Rudramadhav. While Chandrashekhar was a Class III student, Rudramadhav used to go the village anganwadi centre. They had reportedly gone to bathe in the village pond when the mishap took place. On hearing screams, villagers rushed to the spot and rescued the children. They were immediately taken to the district headquarters hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
