Weather update: Thunderstorm warning for 16 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Latest weather bulletin has issued thunderstorm alert for multiple districts in Odisha, today.

Moderate thunderstorm, lightning, light to moderate rainfall and gusy wind at a speed to 40 kmph is likely in parts of Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Khordha.

Similarly, few areas of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundergarh, Deogarh and Sambalpur will experience light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning, according to Regional Meteorological Department.

Such weather conditions will prevail between 3:45 and 6: 45 today.

Furthermore, thunderstorm with wind speed gusting at 50 kmph is also foretold by the weathermen in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Ganjam in the next 24 hours.
