Young couple consumes poison in Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: A young couple consumed poison in Bhadrak district of Odisha today in fear of being separated from each other.

According to reports, Raj Khan of Korei in Jajpur district was in love with a girl. Both eloped from their homes and were staying together in Nangamahal area under Bhadrak Town limits.

The family members of the girl who were looking for her, reached Nangamahal today to take her back home. When they tried to rescue the girl, with the help of the police, the young couple drank poison in a bid to kill themselves.

They were rushed to Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital in a critical state. Till the filing of report, their health condition was still serious.
