2 killed, 28 injured as marriage party vehicle turns turtle in Odisha

Baripada, May 23:
In a tragic incident, at least two persons died and 28 others sustained injuries when the vehicle in which they were returning after attending a marriage party overturned at Saratchandrapur under Samakhunta block in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district today.

The pickup van carrying them lost control and turned turtle leading to the mishap, reports said.
They had come to Saratchandrapur in the pickup van yesterday to attend a wedding party, sources said.
The deceased were identified as Tukulu Tudu (18) and Naveen Marandi (52), both died on the spot.
The injured have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital here for treatment.
