22 Odisha districts to experience thunderstorm, rainfall tonight

Bhubaneswar: As many as 22 districts of Odisha have been issued thunderstorm and rainfall warning by the Regional Meteorological Centre tonight.

Moderate thunderstorm and lightning is likely to lash one or two places in Angul, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Bolangir, Boudh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khodha (including Bhubaneswar), Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Sonepur and Sundergarh.

Rainfall likely over several parts in Odisha ahead of Diwali

Odisha weather forecast: Thunderstorm, lightning in these districts till Aug 13

Thunderstorm will be accompanied by moderate rainfall and gusty wind at 40 kmph in these areas, as per the forecast of weathermen.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail between 8:30 pm and 11:30 pm tonight.
