Malkangiri: The Malkangiri district administration today inaugurated 50 model Anganwadis on the occasion of the Children’s Day. These Anganwadi centres are having better infrastructure for children as well as Anganwadi workers.
The Centre has planned to set up 1,250 model Anganwadi centres across the country. In the initial phase a total of 50 such centres have been opened under the scheme. This was informed by the Niti Aayog in a tweet today.

“Undoubtedly this Anganwadi centre with improved facilities is a far better gift for our children,” said Subudhi Madhi, a resident of Tamasa block.
