Odisha adds 526 new COVID-19 cases with 0.76% TPR

Bhubaneswar: As many as 526 more persons, including 68 children below 18 years of age, tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 68,624 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 0.76%.

Khurda district reported highest 233 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (63) and Balasore (33).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1031044 with 5035 active cases.

The Health Department also reported four more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 8242.
