35-YO man killed by elder brothers in Odisha

Sambalpur: Greed for property turned deadly after two men killed their 35-year-old younger brother last night.

The shocking incident has been reported from Oram Sahi in San Rengali under Rairakhol sub-division of Rayagada district. Police have arrested both the accused–Siu Muda (45) and Anand Munda (40).

Reportedly, the three brothers were indulged a land dispute for last few days. On Friday night, a heated argument ensued between the three over the same issue. In a fit of rage, the two accused attacked their  youngest brother Sanjay with a wooden stick and an axe killing him on the spot.

On receiving information from locals, a police team reached the spot along with a scientific team and seized the body.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and interrogation of the accused duo is underway in connection with the case, said police sources.
