Acting on allegations of amassing assets disproportionate to known sources of income, Odisha Vigilance officials today conducted simultaneous raids at six places belonging to Assistant Executive Engineer of Minor Irrigation department, Ajit Sabat.

The teams, led by Vigilance DCP Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, conducted raids at Sabat’s government quarters, office, residence and three other places, sources said.

Many important documents were seized from Sabat’s residence during the raid, sources added.
