Car catches fire after collision with motorcycle in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur; 1 killed

Jagatsinghpur: A car caught fire following a head-on collision with a motorcycle in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district today. As per reports, the mishap occurred on the Cuttack-Paradeep State Highway near Raghunathpur Bazaar in the district killing the motorcyclist on the spot.

The intensity of the collision between the car and the motorcycle was so severe that the four-wheeler caught fire within a few minutes of the incident. Meanwhile, the car occupants escaped unhurt.

After receiving information, the Fire Service personnel reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

Identity of the deceased could not be ascertained till the filing of this report.
